Pulled out shaft from ryobi trimmer

I have accidentally pulled the spinning center wire out of my ryobi trimmer. It looks intact. How do I put it back in?

It just slides back in. Unless something else is wrong.

I tried but it's not spinning. I think it's not engaged. Is there a trick to getting it lined up?

Did you pull it out of the top (clutch assembly) or the bottom (cutting head) ?
