Exclamation murray automatic riding mower will not move

Someone pushed my lawnmower out of the garage without putting it in neutral. Now it starts but will not go forward or backward. The brake will not release. I believe it has something to do with the lawnmower automatically locking it self as a theft deterrent. The belts are all fine. I need to know where to find where the brake release is. It is a 42 in cut 14.5 hp murray automatic riding mower. I read somewhere that it would take two people, one to hold the brake down and the other with a screwdriver to push the pin back in the groove. Problem is I don't know where to locate the groove. Any ideas???

There is no "theft deterrent" on your mower.

Sounds to me like someone flipped the release valve on the transmission so it could be rolled and didn't flip it back. On most murrays, it's under the seat.
