Toro 20334 lawnmower

I fixed the gas leak; needed a new gasket; now when putting the lawn mower back together; it seems that the mower runs loud and the engine seems to be running, "fast" not the mower. Suspect something with the throttle but done know how to adjust it or did I not put it back together; any suggestions or comments would be appreciated. First time poster.

Thanks
-Jason

Was there more then one hole in the linkage where the governor spring connects?
Did you bend the straight part of the spring while trying to remove it?

I agree, most likely a linkage is bent or out of place and up against something.
