briggs&stranton 18.5 engine
motor wont start so i replaced it with new carburator .. runs fine except when i try to engage blades it stalls .. blades are free turning.. i adjusted the valves but i still have the same problem.. so now i am at a loss ..

You could start by telling us what you have. It sounds like a lawnmower so the engine and mower model numbers would be helpful. Also, specifically describe what happens when you engage the blades. We first need to determine if the engine is stalling or if a safety switch is turning off the engine.
