Craftsman riding mower will not start!

Hi, I have a craftsman Dlt 3000 riding mower that turns over but will not start. It is getting fuel and has spark and has compression. Will actually start of gas is sprayed directly in. Tried brand new carb with no luck. Problem started when it died while in use and just would not start again! Thanks for any info!

Then you still have a fuel supply issue.
Filter inside or outside the tank?
Is there a fuel pump?

New fuel lines are cheaper than a new carb, but that's already bought. You have a air leak somewhere or a fuel line that's bad on the inside. No way to test that accuratlly. Just invest a couple bucks on some new line after you check for a bad intake gasket Let us know the outcome.

I like those crystal clear fuel filters because I can immediately eliminate debris in the fuel tank if I can see fuel inside the filter . . . . and the abrupt halt in the OP's machine seems to have been due to some kind of interruption in the fuel supply.

So simple, it's often over-looked.
