Snow blower starting problem
MTD 179cc OHV horizontal Shaft engine Model SN265SV
MTD SINGLE STAGE SNOW BLOWER 2NIC SERIES
Will doing a paddle replacement tipped the snow blower up with the handle towars the ground. Now have oil coming out the muffler and around the choke will not start. How do you clean the oil and get the engine started? Tried a new spark plug. Any ideas? Thank you in advance and have a great day!

I would put the snow blower on blocks high enough to put a pan under it, so the oil can be drained. Leave the drain plug & the spark plug, out over night. The next day spin the engine only once so the valves change position. Let it set like that for another hour or so.
Put the drain plug in & fill the oil. Pull the rope 2 or 3 times as if you were going to start it. That will insure that you have compression. Install a new spark plug, prime it & try to start it.

Remove plug pull over several times to blow some of the oil out.
Pore that cap full of gas right in the plug hole, it's not going to take much.
May take several times cleaning the plug off to get it going.
