Need mounting dimensions for Honda GX240 and GX390

Need mounting dimensions for Honda GX240 and GX390

I want to use the GX240 on my Trac Vac but how far does the muffler extend past the 4 mounting holes in the rear plate on the backside? I need a flush mount or no more than a 1/4" overhang.

The impeller housing will extend upward past the muffler and honestly I think the market would change if the GX engines had a flush mounting surface with no interference.

I may be able to space the housing out about 1/2" but that's about it.

I also need the same measurement for the GX390.

The Briggs Intek and the Robin EX27 will work but I was hoping I could use the Honda.

Good luck finding those spec's.
Trust me do not go with the Intek I went through 6 of them within a year on my DR vac. Most lasted about 15 min.
There using a plastic gear on the cam shaft that just shears off.

I will try to call someone n the morning in hopes to find those specs, if I do will post back the results.

It's really a shame, the 5 to 10HP GX engines could repower ALOT of equipment but IMHO this really is a design flaw.
