Craftsman weedeater question

A friend held out a box of parts to me. It's a craftsman 316.79190 32 cc .

The starter recoil was not working right and his friend took it apart. I think there is a piece of plastic missing for one of the springs. Yes it's a 2 spring system. I tried a few different ways but to no avail. I will try again though.

Do anyone of ya'll have come across this animal yet ??

His neighbor gave it to him. She didn't like the power of it. He used it 4 or 5 times. It might have 10 hours on it ~!~!

I could not find an assembly picture showing a parts break down.
Last I knew Poulan made the made there trimmers.

yeah I found the same housing also. I knew Poulan made their chainsaws. A buddy of mine has 1 thats over 25 years old. I kitted the carb for him a while back. He has a green handle and tank but the rest is original.

I guess the whole assembly will have to be bought. Thanks
