Hello Garry,

Can you look on the engine flywheel cover for the model and possibly a spec. number, with that I can see which control assembly you have.....

You should only have 2 links but post a picture of what you have

Will this help? Sears, Roebuck & Co. 143.948001
Model Number 536.886280
Code 428303793
I have the two rods shown but still have a third rod with a spring.

The picture that I posted should be your setup. The extra link & spring must come from some other machine.

Nope, came from this machine.

The only project I am working on is this snowblower. I am usually very methodical about reverse engineering. I put bolts back in the same hole for later assembly, etc. however, when I removed the carb, the linkages all come off before I made any notes. The three linkages are from this machine.

Hello Garry,

After some research (memory fading) I believe the link with spring goes where the red box's are, with the spring on the governor lever.....

Good Luck
