Friction disc for an older Brute/Noma snow blower?

Hello to all:

I have a Brute 825 snow blower. Also marked on the rear as Noma Model 258001.

The forward/reverse drive started slipping first time out (bought used last year year) Drive belt up front was fine so that is not the issue so I flipped it up and cleaned the drive plate and friction disc with Freon TF.

Worked fine for about a half hour today and then same thing. The friction disc is not flat... still has some height to it. Assume it needs replacing but can anyone offer a source for the part.

So far not having any luck using that Noma #258001.

Some blowers use a chain from the disc to the wheels that can wear on the sprockets but I do not recall mine having any.

There are a lot of online companies selling Noma/Murray parts. You just have to weed thru them.

discount online parts/snowblower/Drive Parts

If there's still rubber on the wheel, and the disk is clean; then maybe it just needs adjustment or a spring (that provides downward pressure) is missing or stretched ?

Thanks much for the help. Appears this place has the exact part per what you have told me, here.

I did clean the disc again today in the mean time and I held a piece of sand paper against it while turning to remove the glazing. Should hold up for the next storm and by then, hopefully, the new part will arrive... if they have it in stock

Just for future reference, here's an offering from Tulsa Equipment Warehouse:

Friction Drive Disc Replaces Ariens 02201300, 03240700, 03248300, John Deere AM123355, M110594, Murray 1501435, 1501435MA, Noma 1501435, 313883, 53830, 9005383

They have a selection of others that would work.

Tulsa usually has the best prices; but combine orders to save on shipping.
