Black & Decker CMM1200 - charger or battery problem?

Charger got wet. Let it dry out before trying to charge the mower. Now the mower will not charge. bought the mower used so trying to determine if charger is bad or battery needs to be replaced.

First thought is to replace the charger but hoping someone has experienced this problem before.

If it charged before it got wet it stands to reason the charger failed. That charger looks pretty well sealed..... did it go for a swim ?

It's a 30VDC charger. You may be able to check for the 30v at the charge pins however some chargers don't put out any power without being connected. You could check for the charge voltage at the batteries.

I left it out in the rain for a few days. The charger in the photo is an upgraded newer version, the original was not very well made.

I will buy a new charger and see if that works.
