Troy bilt mower deck spring locations
46 inch 3 blade deck for my mower. It was taking apart by the previous owner, and given to me in pieces. I am trying to figure out where the springs go, but the diagrams from the OEM website and in the owner's manual do not indicate where both ends attach. They only show where one end attaches. The mower is a Troy-Bilt 13BX 60KH011 super bronco. I have even looked at other models with the 46 inch deck and different years and none of them indicate where the Springs attach. Hopefully someone could help me out. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

How many springs are you left with and how big?
Looks like you should have two.
There is a decent IPL here From the list choose MANL:PARTS:2009:13X:60X 769-04339
Page 24, items 36, 37 and 38 shows a fairly good diagram for connecting both springs.
Also item 35...what a POS mix breed MTD/Troy....
Even if I have seen that many springs on a deck I have never had to mess with more than one...two max!

Thanks, but that is the same diagram i have been using
It was great for deciphering where each goofy pulley assembly was located, but it really only shows the location of one end of each spring.
I was able to figure out #'s 35 and 37, but 36 and 38 have me stymied. I am looking at all the deck and trying to find a point to hook these 2 hateful things.
I have to agree with you. 2 should be enough. Why over complicate things!
Just more things to break.
Frustrating. I agree, the Craftsman is a better engineered machine. I actually like my 94 Ariens rear engine beast. 30" cut, 12.5 HP IC Motor. Cuts anything, just doesn't turn great...
Thanks for the quick response.

I just found a deck on EBAY that has a good enough picture for me to see the locations.
