Help with Karcher electric unit pressure switch

Hello all, I have Karcher 520M electric pressure washer. It was acting up so I took it apart and cleaned it, and replaced the primary engine-start capacitor. In order to access the cap, you open up the control box and the pressure switch and spring plate jumped out at me. Now I'm putting everything back to together and I'm unsure of the orientation and/or placement of the spring plate. Below are two pictures with the spring plate in different locations. It feels like the second picture is correct but I'm not sure.
Any guidance is appreciated. Thx Scott, San Diego

Looks like the top picture is correct.
