Honda snowblower carb problem

After not storing my snowblower for two winters properly...machine wouldn't start...so having some mechanical abilities I took carb off and cleaned the ports and main jet and reassembled unit...fires up on 1st pull....
But will only run on full choke...even after warm-up, any other setting than full choke machine dies. Bad gaskets? (There are 3 between block, carb, choke arm, cover....) what am I missing?

Go through the carburetor again. It sounds like a passage or jet is still clogged.

While you have the carb off take a look at the fuel tank and fuel lines. Make sure the inside of the tank is clean and that the fuel is new and fresh. If you had a layer of varnish develop on the inside of the tank I would replace all the fuel lines and clean out the tank. When the varnish flakes off the bits can travel down the carb and clog a jet.
