Mower: hot start problems

Hello,
what could be a problem, when I try to start my mower after it was used for 0.5-1 hour and up?
The problem is that it barely cranks, when I attempt to start it, like it has an almost dead battery. Problem resolves after about 0.5 hour or if I start it on a next day.
Could it be overheated or something?
What could it be?

Thank you!

Might need a water pump. Or a valve adjustment.
