Auction transmission

So I bought this transmission from a auction with no information on it except that the one wheel wont move. I tore it apart and found what is called an axle bearing block to be ceased from rust, but lubricant and a pipe wrench got it moving again. So should I replace the "axle bearing block" or just run it?
What kind of oil can replace the factory oil?
Do I replace the gaskets or put RTV in its place?

I'd run it if it's not loose and sloppy. Gear oil/differential lube should be fine for oil... probably 90 weight. Black silicone permatex is fine for a gasket.

I don't even have to be an expert. You are good to go. Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and de-greased before applying the Permatex.
