John Deere STX38 Black Deck Steering Help Sought

Steering was slipping gears. Disassembled unit and removed steering shaft. Bushings are shot and pinion gear is moving away from sector gear causing the skipping. The parts catalog calls for 4 M114891 bushings. I only found one at the bottom of the housing where the pinion gear is. The diagram does not show that one however it does show one at the top of the aluminum housing where the steering wheel shaft enters the housing. I think there should be two on the steering shaft (top and bottom) and two on the sector gear shaft (top and bottom). Please help me out here -- how many and where do they go. Thanks in advance.
