Are Small Engines Standardized? My Tecumseh Seized

I have a go kart with a Tecumseh OHH65-71707C Power Sport engine that seized. This engine replaced a Tecumseh 5 HP many years ago and I had no issues with that replacement. My Tecumseh 6.5 hp engine is no longer made. I would like to find a suitable replacement that doesn't require extreme fabrication. Are these engines standard? Can someone recommend d a suitable replacement?

The mounting pattern is pretty standard among similarly sized engines. Check your crankshaft size and find another engine near the same hp with the same size crankshaft. Also check for clearance if you have anything near the engine that might interfere and make sure the exhaust is blowing the right way if it matters in your application.
