MTD Tecumseh 8HP Engine Dies Under Load

I have a MTD snowblower with an 8hp Tecumseh engine. I have a problem with it dying under load. I cleaned the carb and it did nothing. I replaced the carb with a brand new one and also replaced the fuel lines from the gas tank to the carb. I have the new carb tuned pretty good and the engine runs very well until I put it under a load. Once under a load it bogs down and will stall if you keep it under a load. Spark plug is in good shape. Haven't tried replacing that yet. I'm not sure what else it could be or where else to look. Thanks in advance.

Replace the spark plug and put some Sea Foam in it. That may take care of it.

I see you put a new carb on it. If that's brand new, turn out the screw under the float bowl about 1/8 turn at a time until it runs under load.

Should be a governor on the carb to adjust throttle as load is applied. Check to see that it;s not bent or sticking!
