The flat washer in your hand? Looks like the fiber washer that drives the blade. Without it the blade would slip.

Looks like what grasshopper uses. It should go between that adapter and the spindle on the side with the raised middle.

Do you have any other model numbers/letters to go with the ZD326 and the mower deck ID.

Above the adapter.

In your first pic it looks like you are putting it on where it should go, then that adapter mounts to the spindle with the fiber in between.

That cup should just pull off and have a fiber washer inside.

Those cups spin with the blades and are just plastic, they will eventually just disintegrate to nothing more than a plastic disc the size of the fiber washer.
They are a consumable item and do help the life of the spindle.

my cups were all metal,, I went ahead to replaced all beveled washers and got 3 new cups. One cup was bent on so tight with no bottom. It would not come off.. I had to get a screw driver to pry it off.....
Now i'm now in good shape it got new blades new cups and washers
Guys with kubotas check your cups even replace with 500 hrs on it is what i was told at stealer, I mean dealer..
