Tecumseh torque spec's

I have a Tecumseh 12hp,OHV,mower and I'm trying to find out where I can get the torque spec''s for the head. I got a new gasket(a steel sheet) never seen one of these before, but then again I don't work on Tecumseh engines very much. The numbers are OHV12-202706A, Ser 2349D, These are the only numbers I can find on the engine cover.I thank you in advance for the help in this endeavor. My torque wrench is in inch lbs.

Will this help? Scroll down to page 75 for torque specs. Make sure this is the for the engine you have.

My 30-40 year old Chilton's small engine manual does not list your specific model, but it does have a good number of models with varying specifications by model number, and it shows the head bolt torque for all of them at 160 -200 inch pounds. So I'm not saying that's right, but coupled with the link that wirepuller provided I would think you would be safe in the 180-200 range.

Don't use that manual from Wirepuller's link... that is for flat head cast iron engines. Yours is OHV aluminum. Use the link I sent.
