I have a tecumseh ohv130 206801a engine I got before the neighbors scrapped it. I've got it running but theres no throttle response. it runs at 3400 rpm. I did replace the carb but i think i messed up putting the linkage back on. this motor has a seperate lever for the choke and linkage from the governor to the carb. ive looked all over the internet and found set ups that were close, but not the same as this one. i did try adjusting the governor, but the same results. if anybody could help me with the linkage setup i would appreciate it.

Good morning, all. I'm having a bit of an odd issue with my chainsaw (STIHL MS250) in which moving the switch to the top position fails to turn off the engine. I have to pull the connector off the spark plug to cut it off. When I move the switch through the four positions, something feels either slightly loose or possibly disconnected but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Additionally, the back cover of the housing appears to mount fine but seems to be preventing the switch from moving fully to the off position when installed though I can't see anything impeding its movement. I've attached four photos to this post in the hope someone can see something I can't. It seems likely this is something very minor and easy to fix so I'd hate to take it to the dealer and pay for service if that is the case. Thanks very much in advance for any insight! UPDATE: I feel like this is related and another indicator something is loose or disconnected... You can see in the second photo, where the switch is in the 'On' position, that the lower interior cylindrical portion of the switch component has been lifted away slightly from the orange plastic base on which it rests. (Look straight down from the large chrome bolt in the photo.) It only does this in this position. When in the other three positions, it rests on the orange plastic as intended.
