Simplicity Landlord Snowthower

I have a simplicity Landlord (1978 Model 7010 1693333) that I use to move snow with a dozer blade. I have the chance to buy a belt driven Simplicity snow thrower Model 1690034 that I havent seen yet but from the picture looks like it should mount up. My concern is the PTO drive under the tractor's seat. Someone told me that something might have to be changed on the pulley arrangement to accommodate the longer belt, and possible attitude change of the belt angle, as it is presently set up to power a 36" mower deck. Do any of you have any experience with this set up? I do not see any different bolt holes to change the set up on MY tractor at first look under there....

Simplicity Landlord Snow thrower

Well it took a long time, but it was a good thing that i didn't buy the used Snowthrower I was looking at on the net. In order to run a snowthrower on a 1978 landlord, you need a front mounted PTO Clutch which would come with an actuator lever mounted on the right side of the tractor next to your right leg. That actuator would go all the way to the front of the tractor where it would engage the front mounted PTO Clutch which was driven off the front of the engine, not from a belt coming from the middle of the mower beneath the seat. None of the parts are available for this pto clutch anywhere I looked. Not many people are looking for a set up like this for a machine this old, but just thought I would pass along what I finally found....
