Cub Cadet problem

I have a two year old RZT L model lawn mower with less than 50 hours. I am having a small problem with the right pump that activates forward movement of the mower. Occasionally (perhaps once per 5 uses of the mower) the right pump is not ready to go as soon as I start the motor. The left pump is good to go immediately. After a few pushes on the right control arm the machine operates properly. This problem has occurred with the engine cold and with it hot. I have a three year warranty on the mower but with an intermittent problem like this I have no assurance the problem will present itself if I take it in for service which is no small task. I can live with the problem but if I am heading toward failure of the pump I would rather have it repaired under warranty than on my dime.
Can anyone suggest a remedy or cause for the right pump sometime being slow to activate?
