Help with pressure control/idling valve on a gas air compressor

Im working with a older gas powered air compressor, when I got it all of the small 1/4" air lines were not connected and it would continously run at high rpm, I want it to work right I need to lnow where these lines connect.
One comes off the head of the compressor
one comes from the air pump discharge line at yhe air tank
one comes from the pilot valve
One comes from thg gas engine

Thread moved to the gas powered forum.

For a project like this..... pictures are mandatory. We need to see what you are working with.
