Ariens 824 sno blower35 years old approx
I cannot keep it running. Now!It runs great but quits the minute it sees sno.
It supposedly as all small engines do an---AIR FILTER.I have all the parts books for this 824, Where in Gods green earth am i missing the "air filter"??ITs not in the manuals.All small engines have air filters i thoughtAnyone point me in the right direction thank you much bob s

Snow blowers do not have air filters, the snow gets through to the filter and melts then when the engine is shutoff it re-freezes and blocks the air flow. Have a good one. Geo

Just got done removing carb- sprayed it all over inside,and out, with carb cleaner.It will run when you put a baster full of gasoline in the cylinder. Stops dead then. And nothin starts it, til i put more gas in the cylinder.The bottom bowl adjustment is 1-1/2 turns out and Air is the same 1-1/2 turns out. Its got fire. Carb was cleaned --out and went back together like it was supposed too? Choke on. It still won't fire any more tips.PLease! i need them thanks again bob s
ps;Is the adjusting screw on the bottom about right?????

The bowl nut has a tiny hole neat the top that gets clogged I use the wire from a twist tie to clean it, make sure it is clean as well as the one across the bottomm and down the center. Have a good one. Geo

thank you geogrubb,I also as i was ready to put the carb back in place.----here was a tiny short tube that was laying very on the work bench, very very small in dia and it had one end open on it bout 1/4"to -1/2"long???????,.Where would you see to order a new rebuild kit? thanks again Geo bob s

Thanks Geo!But i got it making the trip now around thru the sno..All good at this point -Is Tecumseh engine .I live right here n the town that built the Tecumseh engines bob s
