Husqvarna riding mower drive issue

I have a Lowe's purchased Husqvarna Model YTH20K46 that throwed the drive belt. In the process of attempting to reinstall the belt I realized that it was quite worn so I purchased a new belt. The easiest way to install this drive belt is to remove the mowing deck and turn the mower on its side or tail end. I believe that I installed the belt properly, based watching a YouTube video. I mounted the mowing deck back on, fired it up and it still would not move. Is it possible that I have knocked the drive pedal linkage loose on the mower? I hope this is the case and not the transmission. For what those things cost, I would be better off buying another slightly used mower! Help a brother out please!

Does the input pulley to transmission rotate when the drive pedal is engaged? If not , you have a drive pedal linkage or drive belt path problem. Check the owner's manual for any diagrams/pictures of these areas for reference.

Read page 11 of your manual to see how to engage and dis-engage drive system as when you need to push the machine with the drive system dis-engaged. Make sure the drive system is engaged per diagram 10.

Any chance you had one of the rear wheel off?
