McCulloch chainsaw bearing lube
Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should use to lubricate the clutch sprocket bearing on an older Promac-610 chainsaw? It's a caged needle bearing about 1/2" ID. Thanks

I couldnt find a video on a McCulloch, but I did find how to grease a cage bearing on a stihl. I suspect there wont be a dimes worth of difference in the two. Hopefully some of the professionals here can advise if there are any differences.
Going by your user name (grandma/lady), I'll warn you that, right at the end of the video where it actually is greasing the bearing, he does use some foul language. Otherwise, he made a good video & his explanations were good. I hope this helps.

Thank you young fella. Can't tell for sure but judging from the color of the grease tube and what little I can see written on the tube, he's using Stihl sprocket bearing grease. It looks to be basically Lubriplate so I guess I can try that.
