Poulan 5020 chainsaw not sucking gas

I cleaned the carberator and the fuel line basicly came inside out so I replaced the fuel line and bulb put it back together and then went to prime it. Now the bulb makes a wheezing sound and doesnt suck any gasoline. It's all new line so I'm not sure where the leak could be. Or how to get to the line coming from the tank to the bulb. Any suggestions.

Any chance you switched the new lines and did not get them back correct? The fuel line with the filter has to be on the right connection on carb. When you pump the bulb you should see gas in it and it should be squirting in the carb

Did you feed the line all the way in the tank and put the fuel filter back on it? Is that line connected to the suction port of the primer?

The primer does not squirt gas into the carb throat.
