Snapper riding mower Transmission

Mowed the lawn , all working well. Stopped mower, utilizing the leaver on rear of mower, pushed mower to storage. The next time I attempted to use mower , pushed it out of storage, after starting and utilizing lever on rear of trans, the mower will not move. Thanks for your help. Manage

Would be helpful if you can provide the Snapper mower model number.

Welcome. I would disengage and reengage the lever another time just to make sure that it wasn't an anomaly, but would guess that the drive belt is worn or damaged, not the deck belt, but the belt up in the belly that connects the transmission to the engine.
