Adjusting height, missing piece

Hey guys, I bought a manual push mower the other day off Kijiji and sadly it's missing the 2 pieces to adjust the cutting height of the mower.

It's my first time having a bad experience buying 2nd hand.. anyways I'm wondering if I could still adjust the height somehow? I'm not very handy and don't know how the adjustment works. Normally you lift the little plastic piece which reposition the wheels. Can I just stick a pry bar or something in there and adjust it?

I've attached an image which shows which 2 pieces are missing:

I realize it's got nothing to do with engines, but I figure someone here will probably knows.

It's been over 50 yrs since I've used one of those
You should be able to take a screw driver and pry the ratchet part loose and then take pliers or most anything that you can use to move the setting.

Worst cases, I'm sure you could hit up your local landfill and scavenge a set of wheels off an old mower for a few pennies.

Normally the adjusters are spring steel.
You push then towards the center of the mower and they release from little tabs on the rounded metal peice lower down on the adjuster.
So if just the adjuster handle is broken off you should be able to pry it away and then move it to another position.
