old Giant vac problem

I also have a I have a giant vac 9 hp with a Briggs and straton engine. It runs in full choke strong then cut out after moving it to run or sputters till it cuts out. If I move it back to choke it runs again but not without a sputtering fit in a few minutes time. Any chance itís not in need of a rebuilt carb?.

Agree with the other posters.
Any gas powered tool that gets just seasonal use will always be an issue unless at the end of the season all the gas is used up.
