Trimmer Extension Cord

Trimmer Extension Cord
Just bought a new grass trimmer. It's 6.5 amps and Black & Decker says you can run it up to 150 feet, they say to use 12 gauge.
Problem is it only has a 2 prong outlet. All of my outdoor cords are 3 prong.
You can't buy a 2 prong 100 or 150 foot cord in 12 gauge, not that I have found at least.
So how am I supposed to run this? Do they expect you to string a bunch of shorter cords together?
I wrote them a note but we'll see if they answer.
Thanks.

Not sure if there is a problem that hasn't been described fully? Maybe a 3 prong plug can't fit in the opening? You are aware that a 2 prong appliance can be plugged into a 3 prong outlet, correct? That's what you would do if you have a long 2 prong cord and plugged it into your house receptacle.

Sort of wish it were a joke but it's not.
This grass trimmer only accepts a 2 prong cord.
Problem has nothing to do with plugging an appliance or something like that into a house outlet.
I need a long outdoor 2 prong extension cord to run this trimmer.
Thanks for replying.

Ok, I was thinking of the wrong end on the cord. My 3 prong extensions plug in just fine.
Once I actually tried one it made sense.
Thanks.
