Is this knocking? (video)

I picked up this lawn mower for free as a non-runner. Seems to have good compression. Oil was coming out the carb and muffler and was WAY overfilled so first thing I did was drain and change it despite the label saying "just check and add... never change the oil". Cleaned out the carb and it fired right up. There's a little rattly sound after running a few minutes though and I'm not sure if it's knocking or maybe valve chatter or maybe that's just how it sounds. All my other small engines are Honda. It's only 5 years old. B&S 7.25 motor. Have a listen and let me know what you think!

The engine sounds ok. It does sound like the carb needs work.

Thanks. It desperately needs a new air filter and probably some fresh gas. Just didnít want to put anything into it until I could determine if that was knocking or not.

FWIW...even if was knocking, it's an old lawn mower that runs. The expense of normal maintenance not withstanding, just run it.

I donít need it though as I have a 60Ē 0-turn to mow my 2 acres. I was going to sell this but if it had major problems and was about to blow up I couldnít take money for it,
