John Deere S120 riding mower

I have a John Deere S120 riding mower that I'm thinking about trading in and getting a newer model as a Christmas gift to myself. But first I want to do some homework and see what it might be worth. I'm not sure what year it was manufactured so I went online yesterday and I was told I could figure it out by the Product Identification Number. But going to a website and typing in that number didn't show me what I wanted to know. Can someone please tell me the year? The PIN is 1GXS120EELM011922. Thank you very much.

If their mowers are like their utility vehicles Deere doesn't really use model years. Being used and the numbers of hours and the machine's condition will determine it's value. You can go to websites like Machinery Pete, Machinery Trader and other equipment sales/auction websites and see what they are selling for. Just make sure you are looking at machines with similar hours.

best guess is 2020 model hard to determine exactly without knowing what letters they omitted from the year of manufacture.

If it has a briggs engine, the engine code will tell you the date of manufacture.

Not sure why they don't just put the date out in the open where it's easily seen. My manual that came with it says it was printed in 2020 so I guess I can go by that too. Thanks for all the replies and you guys have a wonderful Christmas.
