MY lawn mower wouldn't start, tecumseh 6.5 hp engine (model# LEV120) finally I found a hose badly deteriorated, replaced it and when it wouldn't start again, took the carb apart. The float had gas in it. i think this is the problem. where can I get a replacement carb? any ideas on the cost? the mower is only 3 yrs old.

baileyjv, Sounds like your float is sinking! Check with a local Tecumseh dealer. They have carb kits for these engines for a few dollars that have the float, needle, seal and all you need to get it going...Very easy to do...Mike
