I have a coleman powermate generator with a tecumseh 8hp engine model#hm80 155465m ser.#2241a and was wondering if anyone makes an aftermarket muffler that would quiet it down any?Thanks in advance for your help.

Two sources of replacement parts are listed below.

Another method would be to repipe the exhaust to except two mufflers. This trick works for engines that uses a standard 1/2 inch pipe fitting exiting the engine. Installing a Y on the first pipe out of the engines exhaust and building up on it so two mufflers can be used works well providing there is space available.

Also consider a stop at the local small engine repair shop or lawn mower repair shop for additional infomation and parts.
