Hi Tom! I am working on a Generac TXP45 genset and I need electrical schematics for the printed-circuit engine controls. Do you have any ideas on where I can get them, or testing procedures? The Ignition won't spark, and there are a lot of electronic control devices that I'm unfamiliar with that I need to test.

Company URL

Cheese,

You might want to try contacting the company for service literature and information directly. You'd be surprised what most are able to find for you:

http://www.generac.com/

That is the company URL for them. Good luck and hope it helps.

Thanks Joe, I've been to the site, and will probably contact them. I was hoping for the off-chance that the info I need would be online somewhere (takes less time and effort...maybe I'm a little lazy, lol!). Thanks!

I am not familiar with Generac, I can get parts
for them, but have never worked on them. What brand
engine does it have on it? I have seen generators
have very picky low oil switches, and refuse to
spark unless the oil is completely full.

I think it has a 16 H.P. Onan, if I recall correctly...It's not here, so I can't go look at it to see. I don't recall seeing a low oil pressure/level switch though.
