poulan chainsaw 2250 superclean

New chainsaw ( <10 hours of use)
Choke sticks in choke position.
Saw quits running. Cleaned carburetor and worked for a while then problem recurred. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello and Welcome rhetwilson to my Small Engine forum.

Not a whole lot of information provided within your posting on the make and model of the saw nor type of choke actuating type used.

However, check the choke plates outer diameter and the inside of the carb barrel for a tiny machining burr which may not have been cleaned away during the manufacturing process.

Regards and Good Luck.
