Carburetor Adjustment on 2 cycle

Re: Weed Eater Hedge Trimmer. What are the initial carburetor settings on this engine. It seems to idle O.K., but I am unable to operate at higher speed. Have played with it with no success.

Start with the low speed screw 1 1/2 to 2 turns out, and the high sepped screw at 1 to 1 1/2 turns out, and go from there. There are other things that could cause your problem, like a restriction in the carb or fuel line, bad diaphragm in the carb, restricted exhaust or vent in fuel cap, leak in line or primer bulb. Let us know how your progress goes...we'll help you get it going.

Problem solved and thanks

You da man! I adjusted the carb like you said with no results. I then sarted looking at the other problems you mentioned. Low and behold....I found the fuel line pinched as it went through a hole with some electrical stuff. I slid it over and away she went. Thanks for the solution.
