Where is compression port?

I purchased a Toro snowblower last year with a Tecumseh Model HSK845/850 2-cycle engine.

In the manual it states "The muffler, cylinder exhaust and compression release ports require cleaning after 75 to 100 hours of operation".

I understand where the cylinder exhaust port would be (behind the muffler). But where is the "compression release port"????

It is on the side opposite the muffle. There is a reed assy. that allows compression to go past it and through the piston pin and out the muffler. Later Butch
