replacing weedeater spools

Does anyone have a trick for replacing the Toro auto feed string spools on the electric model? I tried doing it yesterday for a friend and was humbled by the tedious nature of what should be a simple job. I was thinking there must be a replacement spool without having to manually thread the string into a cumbersome spool head, which seemed to tangle with each attempt. Please provide insight to this dilemma. Thanks.

Hi Jason!

I am not familiar with the electric models, but generally there would be a small hole that you insert one end of the line into, and then wind the line around the spool in the direction indicated by an arrow on the spool. Hope this helps, and maybe someone with knowledge of this unit will be along to help you in more detail.
