Info. on an Older briggs & stratton

Hey, guys I need help. My son was given an older Craftsman lawn tractor. he has ahd it running, but it was cob-jobbed when he got it.
The SEARS Parts page seems to Not Recognize it's own models. It has a Briggs & stratton 11 h.p engine, Mod.252707 - Type 0145-01.
This is followed by both these numbers. 78082011 & 78032011. We need Basic Part diagrams & Names of parts, ( like the lil' black Tube between the Carb. & the block )

You've got the model #s wrong somewhere.

Sears model #s are three digits a period and then the rest of the model #.

Example: A mower I found last week and subsequently repaired for nothing :

917.384011

The 917 identifies who supplies Sears with the unit. In this case it is American Yard Products, which is essentially owned by Electrolux.

I believe the model # you need is under the seat on their tractors. Go to the webpage for parts and it will tell you the typical locations of model #s.

My guess would be it's probably a Murray/Noma supplied unit.

Correct the model # and then it should come up in Parts Direct.

The model and type and code numbers are from a
Briggs and Stratton engine. Go to briggsandstratton.com
and you can download an illustrated parts list and get
the part number for the breather tube and anything else on the
engine.
