Tecumseh 8 hp Carb

I have a generator with a Tecumseh 8 hp. What would be a good begining setting for the carb jets? Thanks in advance.

Are you changing the jets in the carb? Or are you adjusting the air-fuel mixture screw? The mixture screw should be turned in all the way until it lightly bottoms. Then back it out 1 1/2 to 2 full revolutions.

I'm just cleaning the carb and adjusting it. Thanks for the reply. Great forum.
