Sprayer or Roller?

We are preparing to sell our house and must paint the entire interior. We are going to paint all the walls the same color(which includes a few small areas with dark paneling). What is the most efficient (read EASY) way to accomplish this? Should I buy a mid grade paint sprayer or go with a power roller?

I should also mention that we will be replacing all of the carpet in the house after painting is complete so there is no issue with drips or overspray.

I would go with the roller. There is a learning curve associated with a sprayer. I think that indoors is a heck of a place to learn to spray.

I'm with chfite! No newbees with sprayers in the house! You don't need to spring for a power roller either. Buy a good roller with a quality extension pole (read metal). It will save you some money and work just as well, better I think. If you use a heavier nap roller 1/2 to 3/4 " nap (I prefer 3/4") you'll hold a fair amount of paint and get the job done quickly. Good luck on your move!
