trertetr My daughter want's her room painted in what she calls a splash of color where you paint the wall a solid color and then splash color on with a paint brush, I can't find any book or information on doing this. Has anyone heard of it? and do they know the easiest way to do it?? Please help we want to redo her room as a xmas present

You might ask the decorator at a paint store.

Hi Htlheinz,

My wife did this in our boys room. All we did was to mask everything we didn't want painted and put a dropctoh on the floor. Then we had 4 different colors in quart cans, she dipped a 2" brush in the paint about an inch the flung the paint on the walls with a snap of the wrist. It turned out great. One drawback is that when you go to re-paint it will have to be sanded.

Just my 2 cents...
