Question tissue paper and paint

Looking for a technique that uses tissue paper on a wall and then paints over it with glaze and paint? what do you adhere the tissue paper on with and how much glaze/ paint do you use... any help would be appreciated

Smile Here is what I thionk I know!

You first base coat the walls with your base color, then your glaze. While the glaze is wet you add the tissue paper and then use a shellac or some type of protective coating as the final finish. As for the ratio, you can dilute paint with water at a 5 to 1 or purchase ready made glazes in the store. Try this on a board before doing the entire room. Any faux finish needs a bit of practice to be sure of the finish you'll get. Or something like that! ;-) HTH.
