Unhappy Preparing to paint

I have finally managed to get all the wallpaper and glue off my walls, though underneath is really glossy paint. Before I paint I guess this will need to be sanded down, what would be the best way to do this?

You can lightly scuff sand it with 220 grit paper. You just want to create a surface with some 'tooth' to it. Then prime.

I just did this also. Make sure that you prime/seal the walls before painting.
Using an oil base sealer is best, but a water based sealer/primer is fine also.
good luck.
