painting walls in the dining room
I am painting the walls in my dining room and want to know if it would look right if I painted 2 walls opposite of each other the same color? Instead of painting all 4 walls the same color, paint 2 of them light gren and the other 2 white. Please let me know if this will look right or not. Thanks.

Missy, painting your room in this fashion is fine if this is what you want.
I would make sure that they are the same sheen (flat, satin, eggshell, or semi gloss) for unifomity. I assume that your ceiling will be white.
What color will the trim be? What if you painted 2 joining walls green, let them dry, then the next 2 joining walls white?
This way you would have both of your chosen colors, and the room would not look so 'broken up'
