Waterproofing products on brick

I read the posts on waterproofing products and am curious if Drylok (or similar products) will stick to brick and morter under hydrostatic pressure.

I want to waterproof and finish my basement which floods every couple of years. I can apply paint on the walls and concrete floor when they are dry, which is most of the time. I would like to know the best product(s) for the job.

If the basement floods, then waterproofing compound to paint onto brick would be less of a concern than solving the flooding.
